Description

Join our short glass art course, in a fully equipped studio, where you will learn the basics of glass art to produce a fabulous Christmas Decoration. You will use precut glass pieces, copper foil and soldering irons to design and construct your unique Christmas Decoration
All materials and tools are included in this relaxing and fun one day course, so come along and get in the festive spirt.

What Will I Learn On This Course?
Learners will: 1. Produce a design from the provided pieces 2. Demonstrate how to copper foil and solder glass pieces 3. Produce one completed glass art piece Whether you would like to learn new creative skills or to investigate the possibility of a new art-based career, MAE Community Learning courses can provide you with a stepping stone to progress

Please be aware that whilst this course is practical in nature some sessions will include theory and professional related training such as H&S, risk assessments, public liability etc All material and tools are provided in this course Please bring a pen Long hair must be tied up No open toed shoes in the studio

What Is The Attendance Policy?
Single session- This is one session course- please attend for the duration of the lesson. If you enrol and then cannot attend, please inform us as soon as possible on 01634 338400 so that your place can be given to someone else.
