Description

This free session is part of the Heritage Place open days programme.

Learners will work in one of our historic studios to produce a piece of mixed media art based on a still life of heritage items from the Medway Adult Education archives (such as Millinery hat steamers).

Learners will work using a selection of mixed media materials as well as archive papers.

Work will be left at Medway Adult Education to be used as part of our 120 year celebration.
  

What will I learn on this course?
Learners will: 1. Produce at least 1 finished piece for exhibition. 2. Combine at least 2 different materials to produce work. 3. Engage with the still life drawing task to aid mental health and wellbeing – using drawing to relax.

The tutor will be able to advise you of relevant classes we offer.
