Description
This course is designed for adult learners who want to improve their practical maths skills for everyday life, work or further study. It focuses on building confidence in using maths in real-world situations, such as managing finances, interpreting data and solving problems.
What will I learn on this course?
• working with numbers, fractions, decimals and percentages
• understanding measurements, shapes and space
• Handling and interpreting data using charts and statistics
• Applying maths to practical scenarios like budgeting, planning and decision making.
Is this course suitable for me?
You need to be 19 years and over and have no GCSE 4/C or equivalent qualifications in Maths.

Before you begin your studies, an initial assessment will take place in order to help us to place you on the most suitable course.
The qualification is equivalent to a GCSE grade 4 (C).
